Pictures

Madeline is getting her pictures taken today. Hoping she smiles a lot, but you never know with her. She is usually so good, but she can go from happy to screaming mad in 2 seconds.
Here is where we were practicing her smile this morning.



It must have been exhausting because while I was trying to send the pic on my phone she fell asleep.

Thumb sucker

I think we are going to have another thumb sucker in the family. At first, every once in a while maddie would get lucky and find her thumb when she lost her pacifier and was crying. Now I'll find her playing with her thumb in happy as can be. After I pulled it out today she stuck her tongue out, like "man why do you have to ruin all my fun".

Oh no!

Well, we officially have our first sick child. I woke up last night and heard her coughing a couple times. The poor thing was such a trooper about it, she fell right back asleep so I didn't think much of it, but when I went to get her up this morning she started coughing again and was all stuffed up. To make matters worse, she HATES the nose sucker thing... it has to make her feel better to be able to breathe. I took her temp. just to make sure it is just a cold and one thermometer said 98.6 and the other one said 99.3??? That's kind of a big difference, any suggestions on how to get a correct reading? Madeline had to be thinking this morning, "what the heck are you doing to me crazy lady, it's just a cold?"

New toys

Madeline is really starting to like to "play" or rather swing her arms and legs at toys.

Better late than never

Well I just found out how to post to my blog from my phone today. Maybe... Just maybe that will get me to post more often. Our slow Internet and laptop problems at home were making it pretty time consuming. My pics will be from my phone, so not great. Better than nothing though.
