Madeline is so close to taking off crawling. She can go backwards and in circles but still not forward.

Wakesurfing

I think I have a new favorite watersport... wakesurfing. I convinced Dustin to get me a board and we tried it out for the first time this weekend. It's a little harder than wakeboarding, but once you get it it's a blast. I was baffled at first by how to stay behind the boat without a rope, but once you "catch the wave" your board just pushes you along.

My favorite part of the weekend had to be when Vienna and Ainsley fell off the tube for the first time. Poor girls were both crying after they went under water, but afterward they were both talking it up like they were big stuff the rest of the weekend. Vienna is all GIRL... she just made it back into the boat and while still crying, looked at her mom and said "mom, are my earing stickers still on?" Ash said "yes they are"... then she said "yeah, but are they still sparkly?" While that conversation was going on, Ainsley was describing to me how she had her mouth and eyes open and the water "just jumped right in". After realizing going under the water wasn't so bad (she didn't even lose her sparkly earings) Vienna decided to try wakeboarding with Uncle Aaron.

Memorial Day Weekend

Here are a few pictures from Memorial Day weekend Ash took. It was BEAUTIFUL and we had a blast!
I hope I can still ski when I'm 61... heck, I would love to be able to ski like him now!

Roller

I may be wrong, but I think Madeline might be a late crawler. She has become a master "roller" and now has no use for crawling. If she sees something on the other side of the room she wants, no problem, she'll just roll her way over there to get it.

Legs

This little lady has some serious lumpy/chubby legs. I love them! I had to take a picture of her this morning with her summer outfit on showing them off.
