Fireproof

okay, okay... I'm not quite as good at keeping up on this thing as I thought I'd be. I'm going to have to show Dustin how to update this thing... I'm sure we'll get some fun posts then. Our life just isn't all that interesting.

Anyways, our church is doing a series on fireproofing your marriage right now. So we went and saw the movie Fireproof last weekend. I thought the movie was really moving, it really made you think about the little things you should be doing every day to tell your spouse you love them. Very interesting and informative for a newly wed couple such as ourselves.

Dustin on the other hand, was in for somewhat of a surprise. I'm not sure if he put 2 and 2 together about the series at church and the movie because it was not what he expected. I think he thought it was going to be more of a Ladder 49 type movie because when we were walking out I asked him what he thought of it and all he said was, "I thought there would be more fire scenes". Oh my, he never stops cracking me up!

Hilarious!! When Jeff and I got married somebody told me "always work on your marriage" and I thought - ha! How easy is that! Two kids and eight and a half years later, I try to remind myself daily to do those little things for Jeff, and sometimes IT IS work. Oh, and I have to remind him to do them for me...just kidding :) It is such a great thing you guys are doing this now before kids!! By the way, when are kids coming again????

Oh my goodness Emily, I am laughing so hard that I snorted! I can just hear Dustin saying that about the fire scenes...our brother. Our church just started the same exact series, and believe it or not, Jerome are going to see the movie tonight! How funny! I will let you know what Jerome thinks...I don't think he knows what he is in for either!
